At The Thompson Worm Farm we specialize in the King of all composting worms, the Red Wiggler or Eisenia fetida. We offer worms starting at $35.00 per pound (800-1000 worms) shipping included. These are bed run worms, which means they are a mix of adults, juveniles and babies.
We are now shipping worms in the US! Orders are harvested on Mondays for shipping on Monday or Tuesday. That means worms should arrive on Wednesday or Thursday. The cut off for a worm order is Friday. Orders recieved after that will ship the following week.
If you are ordering one of our kits that includes the Worm Factory 360 and worms, please plan for two shipments. The first will be your system so you can set it up and be ready for your worms. The next shipment will be your worms. You can add them to their new home as soon as they arrive.
We now are also selling European Nightcrewlers! These are the larger cousin of our red wigglers. Euros are fantastic composters as well as a big fat fishing worm. They are larger than the "red worms" you buy at the bait shop, but smaller than Canadian Nightcrawlers. Also, they don't need to be refrigerated like Canadian Nightcrawlers. If you want to vermicompost and FISH - this is the worm for you!
