In the spring of 2009 we are participating in Bonnie's 3rd Grade Cabbage program. You guessed it, our cabbage "Clarissa" is being feed with Vermicompost made right here at the Thompson Worm Farm. Watch this amazing plant grow with us.

5/8/09 - Hard to believe that this is the same plant! It has weathered several strong East Tennessee storms this month as well as a close encounter with a beach ball.
6/13/09 - WOW! That's a cabbage.
7/12/09 With the help of worm castings we have grown a nice head of cabbage.
We were able to donate our cabbage to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank
Attention Gardeners:
The Food Bank will gratefully accept your fresh garden produce.
Fresh fruits and vegetables dropped off in the morning will
be distributed to our neighbors in need by the end of the day.
